Wilcoxon Introduces Inline Adapter for Converting IEPE Vibration Signals to Modbus Output

April 27, 2026 — Frederick, MD — Wilcoxon Sensing Technologies, an Amphenol company, announces the release of the ILA210, an inline adapter that converts analog IEPE vibration signals into Modbus data for direct integration with industrial control systems. The device brings vibration data into PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems, providing machine health visibility alongside process variables for operations and control.

The ILA210 supports single-channel IEPE accelerometers as well as dual-output vibration and temperature sensors. It provides calculated vibration overalls across acceleration, velocity, and displacement using frequency bands aligned with ISO 10816-3 and ISO 20816-3 guidelines for machine condition assessment. The device also outputs true peak, crest factor, standard deviation, time waveform, and FFT spectrum data for vibration analysis and fault diagnostics.

By converting analog sensor signals into standard Modbus registers, the ILA210 makes vibration data directly usable in control and automation systems. This allows alarms, thresholds, and trending to be implemented within existing architectures without additional gateways or specialized software.

The ILA210 is intended for factory automation, process monitoring, and machine health applications across manufacturing, energy, and process industries. The device is compatible with standard industrial power and cabling and is designed for deployment in industrial environments.
